We firmly believe that you are unique and the experience should be, too. We would rather get to know you, and learn the best way to help you shine than speed along our shoot, meet in an over-populated spot, and treat you like a client rather than our new best friends. We are not, “To whom it may concern,” kind of people. We are wanna know your name, your dogs name, and your Granny’s name -kind of people.
We also believe that forming a relationship is imperative to this experience. Think of it like this: a friend is going to bend over backwards helping you, fixing your dress, lending you hairspray, doting on you two. A vendor is going to show up, shoot your pictures, and leave. Both get the job done, but one is lacking a major ingredient if you ask us.
The Alder Experience
There are so many perks to hiring a husband/wife team to capture your moments. We love to joke that we know each other better than we know ourselves. I can predict Brach’s movements and he can predict mine.
We have been in your shoes, (well I was bare-foot for my wedding). But we know how you’re feeling and we know all of this wedding stuff can feel overwhelming.
With us, you don’t have to worry about your film + photos looking vastly different from each other. Because we are editing both, they will be consistent, rich, and real. You don’t have to worry about two strangers meeting for the first time on your wedding day trying to awkwardly work around each other. We’ve been together since what feels like the dawn of time and work together like peanut butter and jam. Brach can fold a pocket square and I can pin in a veil like it’s, well, our jobs.
Our posing is natural and is guaranteed to be the most comfortable you’ve ever felt during a photoshoot.
You can put those finger guns back in their holsters, we are here for the real stuff. I am never going to make you be in charge of what to do with your hands, because I will tell you. I am your friend, and a pro at this, so let me guide you through this process. Let's just say that, like Farmers Insurance, I know a thing or two because I have seen a thing or two.

Let’s talk about
our editing style
The editing of our photos and videos is what we would classify as, timeless, true to color, and bold. We shy away from the trendy orange tones that are so in right now, and focus on the rich crisp looks that will never fade.
Ultimately our gorgeous flowers will die, your venue will only be rented for your time slot, and the cake will be eaten. After a while, the vivid memories will start to fade unless you have us there to capture every intimate, posed, and candid moment of the best day of your lives, enabling you to re-live every last second of it.
