We shot Selena and Reinaldo’s formals at the Salt Lake City Temple in downtown SLC. I was still sick during this time, but feeling much better, enough so that I could actually stand and go a few hours without my IV pole attached to me. Theirs is one of the only sessions I took during this time just because I was so laid out with my HG during those early weeks of my pregnancy.

These guys are the cutest couple ever. They met in high school, in a math class, and Selena’s mom, Ember, was actually their teacher. She set them up, which is really funny to me. They met her sophomore year and his senior year, and they dated all through that last year before he graduated. Selena waiting for Reinaldo during his entire two-year mission after high school, and when he got home, I filmed him coming home from the airport.

I was so blown away by her dedication to him and their commitment to each other from the moment they started dating. They just knew they were meant to be, and nothing could challenge that! I feel so honored to witness them growing closer and closer to marriage and so happy for them!

Shooting at the Salt Lake City Temple grounds that night was absolutely beautiful. The colors of the trees were just starting to change, and it provided a beautiful backdrop for their shoot! I loved Selena’s bedazzled tennis shoes under her dress — such a typical Selena move, which endears me to her all the more.
