Acevedo Birth Story | Birth Story Photographer Logan Utah
I got to the hospital for this birth story at about 7:00 am and Kalina was just getting ready to push. Kalina is a legit superhero. She pushed so well about six or seven times and then sweet little Vanessa was here! The entire process was so sweet and tender and fun.
Both parents’ mothers were in the waiting room, ready to sneak a peek to see Vanessa once she was born, and once both parents had a chance to hold and snuggle this cute girl, they came in to enjoy the excitement together. This little girl had so much love and support right off the bat, and it was super cool to see the generational show of support from her parents, and grandparents.
Funny story: Vanessa was born on a super busy day in Labor & Delivery at the hospital so this family was actually in the last room at the end of the hall, which apparently hadn’t been used super frequently and things were organized a little differently than other delivery rooms. All the nurses that came in kept saying things like, “This room is flipped around!” and spent a while looking for everything they needed (which was all there, just in different places than they were expecting). To this day, this couple will still cite those comments as the most memorable thing about that hospital experience! Too funny!
